Orange Bitters

Ingredients
 1/2 lb dried, bitter seville orange peel
1 pinch cardamom
1 pinch caraway
1 pinch coriander seeds
2 cups grain alcohol
water
4 tbsp caramel food coloring


 
Preparation
 1. Chop the orange peel finely and mix it with the herbs and alcohol. Let it stand for 15-20 days in a sealed jar, agitating it every day.

2. Pour off spirits through a cloth, and seal again.

3. Put the strained off seeds and peel in a saucepan, crush it, cover with boiling water and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into another jar, cover and let stand for 2 days. Strain this off and add it to the spirits. Add caramel coloring, filter again and let it rest until it settles perfectly clear.

Fill a highball glass four fifths with orange soda. Add grenadine, and top with whipped cream.

Orange Julius

Orange Kiss
Mix vodka, orancio, and sprite in a highball glass. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Orange Lion
Stir ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Orange Mule
Pour vodka and cointreau into a highball glass over ice. Fill with ginger ale, and mix well. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Orange Oasis
Shake brandy, gin, and orange juice with ice and strain into a highball glass over ice cubes. Fill with ginger ale, stir, and serve.

Orange Push-Up
Combine liquors in a blender. Add a half scoop of ice and blend. Serve in a hurricane glass, and garnish with an orange and cherry flag.

Orange Safari
Build over ice in highball glass. Stir.

Getaway Car
Mix in a shot glass.

Malibu Surfer
Pour above listed ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice, and serve.

Orange Scented Hot Chocolate
1. Combine milk, chocolate (chopped bittersweet or semi sweet ), orange peel, espresso (instant coffee), and nutmeg in a heavy medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts, increase heat and bring just to a boil, stirring often. Remove from heat and whisk until frothy. BR BR2. Retur

Orange Squash
Pour lemon juice and orange juice into a large tumbler over one ice cube. Stir well. Serve with sugar and cold water on the side, a drinking straw, and a spoon.

Orange Surfboard
Combine liquors in a tall glass with ice cubes. Fill with orange juice and add a splash of cranberry juice. Shake to mix and serve.

Orange Surprise
Shake the peachtree schnapps, vodka and sour mix in a shaker. Pour into a highball glass filled with ice cubes, and fill with orange fanta. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Orange Velvet
Shake cream, pineapple juice and orange juice with some ice. Strain into a large cocktail glass.

Orange Warthog
Add kool aid powder (sweetened), southern comfort and coke to an ice filled hurricane glass. Stir well, and serve.

Orangeade
Pour lemon juice, orange juice, and sugar syrup into a large tumbler or highball glass over ice cubes. Stir well, and top up with cold soda water. Serve with a drinking straw.

Orchard Downs
Pour dry gin into an old fashioned glass and fill with apple cider or apple juice. Add grenadine (optional) to taste.
