Hot Mulled Cider #2

Ingredients
 8 cups apple cider
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 ground nutmeg
6 inches cinnamon sticks
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cloves
8 thin oranges slices
8 cloves


 
Preparation
 Combine apple cider/juice, brown sugar, and nutmeg in a large saucepan. Place cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a cheesecloth and tie. Add to cider mixture, and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove spice bag and discard. Serve mixture in mugs with a clove-studded orange wedge in each.

Pour all ingredients (except orange juice) over ice in a collins glass. Fill with orange juice, stir, and serve.

Hot Spiced Cider
Add allspice, clove and cinnamon stick to the apple cider and let simmer for 1 hour (or longer). This may not look like much spice, but it really does make a pleasantly spicey cider.p id="cl"hr noshade size="1" color="C7C7C7"

Combine the cider, sugar and spices in a large saucepan. Heat slowly to boiling. Boil for 3 5 minutes, remove spices, and serve hot. Hot Springs Cocktail
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Hot Summer Breeze
Soak several slices of habanero pepper in the bottle of vodka for 3 months before using. It will give you that feeling of a summer hot breeze.

Hot Toddy
Brew tea and fill a tall glass 3/4 full. Mix in honey. Mix in brandy shots. Add lemon slice and enjoy.

Hotel Plaza Cocktail
Stir all ingredients (except pineapple) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with the crushed slice of pineapple and serve.

Howell Says So
In a shaker half filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into an old fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes.

Hudson Bay
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Purple Cow
Pour vodka into a shaker. Add grape juice, to taste. Shake, strain into a highball glass, and serve.

Pour together and stir as required.

Hummer
Blend all ingredients in an electric blender at a low speed for a short length of time. Pour into a highball glass and serve.

Hunch Punch
Put them all together and mix it with a lot of ice. For big parties use more of each and mix in a garbage can.p id="cl"hr noshade size="1" color="C7C7C7"

Hunka Hunka Burnin Luv
Pour all ingredients into a glass (larger than 12 oz.). Put a lid over the glass. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Hurlyburly
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with dried cranberries.

Hurricane #2
Pour gin, rums, amaretto, and triple sec into a hurricane glass with ice. Add equal amounts of grapefruit juice and pineapple juice until almost full. Top with grenadine to taste.

Hurricane Flint
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass and serve.

Hurricane Hugo
Mix all ingredients over ice in large shaker. Add more juice to taste for the lightweights. Shake well and strain into shot glass. This recipe may be doubled or quadrupled. We strongly encourage this.
