French Connection

  • 1 1/2 oz cognac
    3/4 oz amaretto almond liqueur


 
Preparation
 Pour ingredients into a old-fashioned glass over ice, stir, and serve.

Pour all ingredients (except grenadine) into a shaker, shake well and strain into a chilled large martini glass. Pour a drop of grenadine into the middle of the glass and let it fall to bottom. (It will color the stem red.) Garnish with a slice of lime, and serve.

Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

French Fantasy
Pour all ingredients into a highball glass, and stir. Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry, and serve.

French Flamingo
Shake ingredients well with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lime peel, and serve.

French Foam
Pour all ingredients into a highball glass. Add a dusting of lemon or orange sherbet on top, and serve.

French Fry
Pour the Frangelico hazelnut liqueur, triple sec, lime juice and pineapple juice into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a highball glass, and serve.

French Green Dragon
Pour the cognac and green chartreuse into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

French Horn
Stir and strain into a cordial glass. Garnish with a speared cherry, and serve.

French Kiss
Shake and strain into a champagne flute. Garnish with a speared cherry or raspberry, and serve.

French Martini
Pour each of the above into a tall bar glass. Shake with ice, pour into a cocktail or martini glass, and serve.

French Orgasm
Pour the cognac into a brandy glass. Add irish cream, and serve unstirred.

French Pirate
Pour orange curacao into a champagne flute, add dark rum, and fill with champagne (preferably brut).

French Revolution
Pour the brandy and framboise into a mixing glass half filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and strain into a champagne flute. Add the champagne, and serve.

French Rose Cocktail
Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

French Sailor
Mix warm cointreau and vodka into a tumbler with a cube of sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

French Style Pernod
Pour both ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and serve.

French Summer
Pour chambord into a wine glass filled with ice. Add sparkling water, squeeze in a slice of lemon and orange, and stir.

French Tickler
Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice, and shake until completely cold. Strain into an old fashioned glass, and serve.

French Whore
Shake vigorously over ice and strain into a rocks glass.

Frenchie
Pour both ingredients into a cocktail or rocks glass and stir.

Fresh Mint Liqueur
Wash leaves in cold water several times. Shake or pat dry gently. Snip each leaf in half or thirds. Discard stems. Measure cut mint leaves, packing lightly. Combine mint leaves and vodka in aging container. Cap and let stand in a cool place for 2 weeks, shaking occasionally.BR BRAfter initial

Freson
Mix all ingredients and pour over ice.

Fretful Martini
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half filled with cracked ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with an olive, and serve.

Fria Cafe Italiano
Mix all ingredients into an ice filled shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with ground espresso.

Friar Tuck #2
Pour the Frangelico, brandy, lemon juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve.
